[Histology Core]

ALL services at Histology Core will temporarily be suspended due to scheduled ceiling maintenance work from 14:00 to 17:00 on 21 October 2026 (Wednesday). Please check the related arrangement in our mass mail.

[Microscopy & Imaging Core]

The NAS storage upgrade has been completed. Please back up your data before 3 August 2026.

 

[Flow Cytometry Core]

BD FACSDiscover™ S8 Cell Sorter w/ CellView™ & Class2A BSC will be suspended from 2–15 November 2026 for annual fumigation, inspection, certification and preventive maintenance.

Flow Core & CRL (Rm 412, 412A and 412B) will be closed and all Flow Core equipment will be suspended from 15:00 on 2 November  (Mon) to 14:00 on 4 November (Wed) 2026 for fumigation preparation and servicing for BD FACSDiscover™ S8.  [Update: 21 Aug 2026]
 
The BSC in 412B will be suspended from 24–30 November 2026 for annual fumigation, inspection, certification and preventive maintenance.
 
Flow Core & CRL (Rm 412, 412A and 412B) will be closed and all Flow Core equipment will be suspended from 14:00 on 24 November  (Tue) to 14:00 on 25 November (Wed) 2026 for fumigation preparation and servicing for the BSC in 412B.  [Update: 13 Oct 2026]

 

System Login issue - Error message "Account doesn't exist"

Due to recent security update, any account registration made with an email which does not match with your Onepass login ID will result in a login error.  It shows "account does not exist".   Please contact the Core Admin (sbscore@cuhk.edu.hk) for account update with your Student-ID@link.cuhk.edu.hk [for students] or alias@cuhk.edu.hk [for staff].
